Rise of the Eagles...

Greetings, this will now be the address of my day-to-day blog, full of my ramblings...

Work today was okay, compared to yesterday when I had to literally drag myself from bed and soldier through the day on 0 hours sleep :/ Just have to keep reminding myself that I am making money. Surprisingly, I do actually like my job, but I have been so busy with socialising (poor me, boohoo :/) and working that I haven't had a day to myself.

Tommorow I have work and then I intend to see Alex, if I can drag him away from 'Oblivion' - this new game that seems to have absorbed his soul over the last few weeks :/ Friday is the day you see, for after my driving lesson I intend to do sweet fuck all! Surf the internet to look for nice trinkets perhaps, to put in my new attic room, a new hobby/sad obsession of mine. Seriously, I need like £300 to buy all of the crazy shit I want in it, like rugs and beanbags (more expensive than I realised) and lights and books and instruments blah blah blah...

Was supposed to be going to a free music festival in Sheffield called TRAMLINES this weekend, but it turns out I am working on Sunday, and Alex can't get the car for the whole weekend, so dead end with that plan. Im trying not to think about the free Eighties Matchbox gig I am missing (potentially also missing Artic Monkeys if they do a secret gig as rumoured)...the thought fully depresses me. O well, at least I have Reading Festival to look forward to.

Last week I set up a blog to practice writing Journalistic articles, called WE WERE YOUNGER & BETTER , with the intention of developing some level of discernible skill rofl. So far I have attempted to write a review on 'Florence and the Machine - Lungs' and am working on reviews of Kasabian & White Denim. I would be grateful If you could read it and give me some opinions...Its sort of my first proper attempt (other than writing about college in the Bracknell News aha), so any guidance to get it sort of alright would be good...
